It was to provide shelter and nurture to these abandoned babies who were being brought to us in ever increasing numbers that Anantha Ashram established a Children's home.  At present in the home, there are about 45 children including many infants who are under the age of 1 year.

Needs of the Children's home:

• The home need funds to provide around the clock urture to more than 25 babies, and loving care to another 25 children, including taking care of the health and medical needs of the many children who become seriously ill and sometimes need ICU and surgery.  The annual cost of these services is Rs 1,900,000 or USD 48,000.
• We also need to provide good education to a growing number of school going kids.  This school year, 15 children are into school at the cost of Rs 225,000 (USD 5,600).
